About Eric

Virtual reality (VR) refers to computer technologies that use software to create images and sounds that simulate a real environment. Virtual reality takes the form of a headset, covering the user's eyes and sometimes ears. The user is able to turn their physical self and also turn in the virtual world. They are able to move and interact with objects depicted on the headset. VR is also used for gaming.

To use VR, it usually requires one of the three things: a PC, gaming console, or a smart phone to start the application. The images are sent from the console or computer to the headset through an HDMI cable. For some headsets, the display comes from a smart phone. These headsets provide headtracking which allows the display to move as you move. Find more information about virual reality here.
